A New Awakening

So, I have abandoned my writing for awhile.  My writing group sent me into a world of question about how I write, why I write, and prompted me to take a step back and not worry about it all so damned much.  I realized that this type of writing brings up so much that I was not expecting to expose, that I actually had to give myself time to process it.

I had to deal with my own perfectionist nature and finally realize that this, in fact, is just a blog, not a Pulitzer prize winning piece of literature, and there is room for all types of creative expression in this world.  From here forward, I am not going to be so concerned with the proper grammar or punctuation, I’m just gonna write.  What freedom!  Thanks for listening and prompting me to continue on!
